Abs   built-in function

The Abs function returns the absolute value of its numeric argument. The result is formatted according to current NUMERIC settings.

result = Abs( number )

number

Any Rexx numeric value.

Example: say Abs( ' - 0.307 ' ) -- shows 0.307
