BLENDER CREAMED CABBAGE

4 c. cabbage

Put coarsely sliced cabbage in blender container.
Add cold water to 2" from top.
Cover and blend at high speed for 2 seconds.
Drain well in colander.
Repeat as needed until you have 4 cups chopped cabbage.
Turn into saucepan.
Into blender container put:


3/4 c. hot milk
2 tbsp. soft butter
2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. dehydrated minced onions
1/4 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. salt

Cover and blend on high speed for 10 seconds.
Add to cabbage and cook over low heat for 15 minutes or until
cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
