Cheesy Crab & Shrimp Dip
Ingredients:
Dip:
6 crab cakes, thawed
1-1/2 cups diced shrimp
1/2 cup shredded Pepper Jack cheese
1/2 tsp. hot sauce (add 1 tsp. if you like it spicey!)
1/4 cup chopped green onion
1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
1 cup mayonnaise (NOT Miracle Whip)
Juice from 1/2 fresh lemon
1/2 cup Cesar-Parmesan-type dressing (for marinating only!)
Topping:
1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Juice from 1/2 fresh lemon
1 Tbsp. chopped green onion
Preheat oven to 350. Marinate diced shrimp in Cesar-parmesan
dressing for about an hour, drain dressing. Fry crab cakes as
instructed. Break cooked crab cakes into small pieces. In a
medium size mixing bowl, mix all dip ingredients together and
fold slowly to mix well. Transfer dip to an 8"x8" baking dish.
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
When dip is ready to serve, drizzle juice from the second half
of lemon and sprinkle green onion over dip.
Serve with French baguette bread, crackers or bagel chips.
