Cowboy Skillet Biscuits
1/4 cup butter
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/4 paprika
1/4 tsp onion powder
2 cups biscuit mix
1/2 cup water
Melt butter in a 10 inch heavy skillet.
Sprinkle seasonings evenly over bottom of skillet and remove from heat.
Combin biscuit mix and water to from a soft dough.
Knead dough on floured board and form into a round pancake-like shape.
Place dough in skillet, then roll over so seasonings coat both sides.
Cover skillet and cook on medium heat for approximately 10 minutes.
Check occasionally to be sure biscuits are not burning.
Cook 4 minutes longer or until done.
When ready to serve, slice into wedges.
Makes 10 biscuits.
