X 6.2.22.7 ON EXCEPTION Phrase
X An exception condition occurs when invoked methods are not supported by
X the method identified by literal-1 or identifier-2. When an exception
X condition occurs, one of the following two actions occur:
- X If the ON EXCEPTION phrase is specified, control is transferred to
X imperative-statement-1.
- X If the ON EXCEPTION phrase is not specified, then a condition is
X raised at run time.
X Exceptions can occur if conformance requirements are not met. Conformance
X requirements include:
