X 6.2.22.3 BY CONTENT Phrase
X If the BY CONTENT phrase is specified or implied for a parameter, the
X invoked method cannot change the value of this parameter as referenced in
X the INVOKE statement's USING phrase. Although, the invoked method can
X change the value of the data item referenced by the corresponding
X data-name in the invoked method's Procedure Division header. Changes to
X the parameter in the invoked method do not affect the corresponding
X argument in the invoking program.

X cannot be a function-identifier.
X If defined in the Linkage Section, you must have already provided
X addressability for identifier-4 prior to execution of the INVOKE
X statement. You can do this by coding either one of the following:
X SET ADDRESS OF identifier-4 TO pointer or PROCEDURE/ENTRY USING.
