X 4.1.8.2 Identifying and Referencing the Class
X The external class-name is used to identify and reference the class
X outside of the source file containing the class definition (for example,
X to identify the entry for the class in the SOM Interface Repository). The
X external class-name is determined by using the contents of either
X external-class-name-1 or class-name-1 (as specified in the REPOSITORY
X paragraph of a class), as described below:
- X external-class-name-1--is used directly, without translations. The
X external class-names are processed in a case-sensitive manner.
- X class-name-1--is used if external-class-name-1 is not specified. To
X create a CORBA-compliant external name that identifies the class,
X class-name-1 is processed as follows:
- X The name is converted to uppercase.
- X Hyphens are translated to zero.
- X If the first character of the name is a digit, it is converted as
X follows:
- X 1 though 9 are changed to A through I
- X 0 is changed to J
