X You can use EBCDIC and/or DBCS character strings under OS/390 and VM or
X ASCII and/or DBCS/EUC character-strings under AIX, OS/2, and Windows to form the following:
- COBOL words
- Literals
- PICTURE character-strings (EBCDIC or ASCII character-strings only)
- Comment text
