The WIN Cover, March 1992
When this RV singles club was started in 1988, the W.I.N. initials stood for
"What I Need" (is someone my age instead of an old LoW codger)
with membership restricted to singles born after 1930. But wags called
it the "Women In Need" club, so a rule was established that the letters
stood for "Wandering Individual's Network".
In 1992, the WIN Director asked me to make the 4th Anniversary cover for
the WIN Directory and I gleefully set to work.

Unfortunately, the Director
(a prim retired English teacher) wasn't at all happy with the result, maybe
because of the signs mentioning sex and alcohol
(shown on the next page).
Or because I accidentally
made the title look like "WIN Director" instead of "WIN Directory"
(she did not think that was funny).
